Congratulations to all those who recently took their LAMDA Drama Examinations. Everyone passed with Distinction.
Aimee Armstrong gained 90% for her Royal Academy of Dance Grade 3 in Classical ballet.
The school took part in the Len Goodman awards [full results in our members section] The following students gained Distinction with 90% Aimee Armstrong, Tanesha Bannerman - Williams, Clancy Gall and Channon Jaques.
Tahesha Bannerman Williams also gained her Theatrical Award with 90%.
Amy Leagas was awarded the Hairspray Star prize for the most hard working and promising performer at the Hairspray workshop.
At the Royal Academy of Dance Summer School 2011, Aimee Armstrong was awarded a Special Commendation for the student that showed promise, commitment and hard work. We are all delighted with Aimee's achievement.
Special congratulations to Tanesha Bannerman - Williams who was placed first in the Character section of the All England Dance Competition with her dance 'Love 15'. Tanesha went through to the London finals in and gained fourth place.
Congratulations to Katya Morgan-Sykes who won the Bournemouth Dance Festival Junior Classical Championship. Katya also won the Elizabeth Collins trophy for the most promising dancer in Modern and Lyrical.
Congratulations also to Isla Moir who won the Senior Modern Stage Championship and was also awarded the Valerie Adams Award for the classical dancer showing the most potential.
Congratulations to our students who performed at Christchurch Arts festival: Aimee Armstrong,Jasmine Cook, Lauren Smith and Beth Tyers who got through to the final with their Lyrical piece. Congratulations to Alisha Blake and Isla Moir who with their duo 'It's a fine life' won the singing section.

Oliver Jaques and Oscar Thorne won the drama section at Christchurch Arts Festival. Their trophy is currently displayed in the Regent Centre. Well done to the young actors who gained 98%. Both boys also got Distinction in all their LAMDA examinations.
