Bring out your confidence. Learn new skills. Make new friends and have fun!
Joining our drama classes will not only bring out the best in you but will give you opportunities beyond your wildest expectations. With a little imagination anything is possible!
We study performance techniques and character development from the age of 5. Breath control, poise and projection are developed through exercises and scripted plays. As a drama student, you will learn to organise yourself as well as become practical and independent. We aim to enhance your confidence with each individual making their own personal development plan and you will develop your team building skills.
Want to prepare for an audition, be it for your school play or a film part? We will cover make-up, costume, stage lighting and direction as well as preparing you with those all important audition techniques.
Our drama groups prepare students for possible roles within pantomimes, both local and national productions.
The teenage class enhances and follows work studied at GCSE level. LAMDA examinations are followed for those wishing to extend their skill, knowledge and performance techniques. There is also a Thursday class from 7pm - 8pm which covers just the GCSE Theory for those aiming to excel in this area.
Auditions for plays, films and shows are regularly offered at all levels. Students may arrange for individual tuition at reception. Additional workshops are offered throughout the year during school holidays and at weekends.
